HISTORY IN THE MAKING
The UCLA Latinx Success Center builds on the momentum of the university’s campuswide efforts to become a Hispanic-Serving Institution, or HSI, by 2025. It is a direct result of the recommendation by UCLA’s chancellor-appointed HSI Task Force to establish a center that provides culturally responsive academic support for students and information for campus faculty and staff. The establishment of the UCLA Latinx Success Center demonstrates that excellence and inclusion are inseparable and necessary to ensure progress for all.
