The Latinx Success Center presents the 5th Annual Welcome

Enjoy a live performance by Ritmo Vivo, UCLA’s Latin Dance Team, music, a campus resource fair, and remarks from UCLA leadership! Food and refreshments will be provided.

This celebration is free and open to all, with a special invitation to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students!

Every fall quarter, the UCLA hosts an annual bienvenida (welcome) event for new and continuing undergraduate and graduate students, where they can connect with current students, staff, faculty and alumni. The event aims to accomplish the following:

  • Send affirming and welcoming messages to all students and their families
  • Increase student’s knowledge of campus-wide resources, organizations and opportunities
  • Foster self-efficacy and community-efficacy
  • Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month
